Materials
Red Heart Fiesta 100 percent
acrylic worsted weight yarn
from Coats & Clark (330 yds/
6 oz per skein): 1 skein light
periwinkle #6347
Red Heart Super Saver 100
percent acrylic worsted weight
yarn from Coats & Clark (170
yds/3 oz per skein): 1 skein
light blue #381
Size 13 (9mm) needles
Approximately 4 sts and 6 rows =
2 inches/5cm in St st with 3 strands
of yarn held tog
Gauge is not critical to this project.
Pattern Note
Sample shown used 3 strands (about
312 oz) of yarn. They may also be
worked with 4 strands for a slightly
larger size. length. Work [k2tog] across row.
Slippers
Cast on 22 sts with either 3 or 4
strands of yarn.
Row 3 (cable row): P1, sl 2 sts to
cn, hold in back, k2, k2 from cn,
p1, k10, p1, sl 2 sts to cn, hold in
front, k2, k2 from cn, p1.
Row 4: Rep Row 2.
Rows 58: Rep Rows 1 and 2.
Rep Rows 18 for pat until piece
measures about 8 inches or desired
Cut yarn, leaving a 14-inch end.
Run through sts on needle, then
seam top (approximately 23 of
length). Sew back heel seam.
