--AGENDA--

Three existing trees are being maintained

Mix of hard surface and landscaping
2 m radius around trees is left bare for root integrity, some material will be around those areas
Landscaping beds are found throughout
Hardy, drought resistant plants with mulch bed, will be a setback to preserve the plants from the
snow removal
If a tree has to be removed to access the water main, there will be something placed there after the
fact
Water main is it a concern that was feedback given from the utilities this was a precautionary
step

be considered,
Considerations for community league contribution benches they are City standard, this is an
option
Custom bike rack can be considered
Circular poster board will have to recirculate it

Anything over and above the current design will need to receive circulation of feedback from
different departments (transportation and utilities)

All feedback on or before March 31, 2017

Summary of all comments will be placed on the webpage
Question cost how much does a bench cost approximately $6000 can provide us that
information
Plaque could it be mounted on its own can be its own structure or
It apprears that the business access is going to change no, that is out of scope of this project and
there is no indication that it will be addressed by the businesses
Future renewal along that road might influence this but it is a private property
Water fountain, was it considered it was rendered when there was unlimited funding but there is
not enough funding for it
Benches is there a consideration for the safety of the benches as they have their back to the
traffic because of the water line the benches need to placed in the location
Will we hear back in May if you submit comments, you will receive
Costs will be provided when we provide them a list
If there is significant changes that the community league would like to see, that needs to be
provided

Custom bike racks as a pilot, there is some challenges to place a custom piece, considerations for
maintenance City would maintain anything unsafe and replace with the City standard, as it ages
and degrades, the City will replace with the City standard, anything the City installs will be
maintained at City Standard

Pavers the City standard is not pavers so there needs to be additional pavers purchased

Edmonton Art Council can make the piece as part of the City inventory if art is considered then
there would be a space allocated and
The renderings are the result of what has been internally circulated, will only need to recirculate if
