9.1 Basicexplanaon
Therequiredpowerhavingbeencalculated,itisnowimportanttoknowthedriveforcetothedrivepulleyto
ensurethatthesystemworkswell.
ThisdrivingforceFUisdeterminedbythedierencebetweentheinputandoutputtensionsofthebelt
onthedrivepullet,whichdependsalsoonthefriconcoecientbetweenthebeltandthepulley.
FUisalsocalledeecvetensionTeofthebelt.
Naturally,foradisplacementtooccur,theremustbeadierencebetweentensions.
