 Anticipatory Set/Hook/Daily Review: Time to complete: 4 mins
Using letter concept from Reading A-Z app, students will recognize that all the pictures start with the same sound.

Input/Modeling or Present Information: Time to complete: 5 mins

1-Model reading the pictures
2-Model reading the words on the smartboard

Time to complete: 2 mins

I will show a picture of a bat. That will be for the letter b. C for cat. D for dog. E for elephant and so on.

Design:

Closure: Time to complete: 13 mins

We learned the letter, its name, and its sounds. We will now work on writing the letters and using it in our kid writing journals.

Formal Assessment: Time to complete: 10 mins

Student pictures to represent initial letter sound. When students hear the sound they will push the letter on their iPad and I will see the correct answers on my
ipad.
