    Mast & Gantry Sheave Replacement Information - CKE2500-2

    1.Mast Sheave Replacement Overall procedure

    Machine posture
    Mast tip supported by stand Push rod lifted by 10 ton crane Boom wire retained by steel bar
    Boom base : Removed
    Boom wire : Not removed Bell hammering by 70ton hook block
    1 hour required
    CW : Not removed Push rod inserted completely.
    Machine disassembling : 6 hours Sheave replacement one by one
    2. Gantry Sheave Replacement Overall procedure 3.5 Hours required

    Machine posture Push rod lifted by 10 ton crane. Original pins came out but still Bell hammering by 70ton hook block
    CW : removed remained in the gantry Push rod inserted completely.
    Boom wire : Not removed frame.(Cantilever)
    Bell hammering from opposite side.
    Platform : on the CW (7mx3m size)
    Sheave replacement one by one
    2 Hours required for preparation
    2 Hours required
    Bell Hammering method

    Original Pin Push Rod

    Necessary Tools

    25 Ton RTC for machine


    disassembling
    and Bell hammering
    12 Ton Hydra for Push Rod Lifting

    Push Rod : Dia 106 x Length 1200


    (Pine hole dia is 110mm)

    New sheave

    Replacement of sheave
    shall be done one by one.
    Caution

    Loadcell Harness should be removed


    before bell-hammering to avoid any
    damage by mis-hitting.

    Without removal of CW, CWB hanger


    interferes with gantry tention memmer.

    So CW and CWB should be removed to


    the ground.
