As a school system that is continually expanding and improving. Wilson County Schools must
be on the lookout for qualified employees. I am writing to inquire about the opportunity to work
for Wilson County Schools as a first grade teacher. I have recently completed by bachelors
degree from East Carolina University. I offer my knowledge in the study of the field.

As my resume will demonstrate, my teaching career has leaned toward Elementary School. I
have a strong passion to educate young minds and to help them become well rounded and
successful for their future. Throughout the experience of working with children so far, I have had
opportunities to work with a diverse of students, along with students who have disabilities. Along
with this, I have become proficient with creating lesson plans that keep the students entertained.

As a teacher, it is my goal to provide a stimulating learning environment that encourages

students to realize their full potential. My greatest strengths include inspiring and motivating
students. I engage their eager minds by incorporating enjoyable activities and cooperative
learning projects. I design the lesson plans to meet their diverse interests, as well as
demonstrate the connections between the classroom and everyday life.
