Motivational cover Letter

My name is Sibusiso Mhambi. I graduated from Cape Peninsula University of Technology with
National diploma in Mechanical Engineering. I later enrolled with the University of
Johannesburg studying towards Btech degree in Mechanical Engineering were I managed to
finish six modules out of 8 modules. I am also current enrolled with College of Cape Town
studying electrical engineering Technical Diploma with the following subjects: Digital
electronics, Industrial electronics, Communications electronics and Electro technics.

I am a hand on, technical, self driven individual who is capable to work under pressure. I
believe I can do any job if I am given an opportunity. I am able to work under no supervision
I enjoy working within team environment.

I am well experienced in services, maintenance, repair and visual inspection of mechanical

and basic electrical machineries. I am well experience in coordinating, supervising,
managing internal and external projects.

Currently I working for Reutech solutions in Simons town Naval base (Navy Base). I am
Electro- Mechanical Technician. I am responsible for mechanical drives systems of the guns
also responsible for the electronic gun controls within vessels such as submarines, frigates
and strike crafts.

Recently I worked for west Coast Technical College where I was lecturing three subjects
(Industrial Electronics N1-N2, Communications Electronics N1 and Engineering systems) and
coordinating student at the workshop preparing student for a trade test.

Previous I worked for Reutech Solutions were I was responsible for 10 artisans
under my supervision. I was carrying out different responsibilities in services,
maintenance and operations of military vessels, commercial vessels and
submarines onboard surface in Armscor Simons town Dockyard (SA Navy military
base). While I was working with Technician I was expose in the following :
Performance of alignment, calibration and setting to work tasks for Preventive &
Corrective maintenance Level C & D for the above designated Systems, Sub-
systems and equipment, Performed troubleshooting, defect analysis, alignment,
calibration and setting to work tasks for Preventative & Corrective Maintenance
for the above designated systems and equipment, Performed Assignments in
compliance with SSC & SA Naval set standards, Reason for leaving, Reutech
Solutions lost the contract of Platform systems support.

Previously I worked for Inthuu measurements were I was exposed in various engineering
environment (Power generation, Petro chemical, Mining, production and processing). I was
responsible for services steam boilers, fabric filter plants, electrostatic precipitators and
steam turbines acceptance test. I was also responsible for co-ordinating internal and
external projects, enforcing OHSAct standards, 16.2 safety officer, quotation writing, report
writing and client liaison. Reason for leaving job security (Company lost the contract to
perform plant performance services at two power stations and one mining company).

I worked for Rotolabel as a student were I was exposed in tool handling, General
maintenance, introduction to design complex mechanical objects, spares preparation, parts
stock tacking and report writing. Reason for leaving to further up my studies.
Currently I am looking for any job that is within my field and a permanent position that will
grant me an opportunity to grow not only as a person but also as an employee.In the light of
