Events report May 2017

Sunday 2nd April, Acrobat crazy about chrome 2017.
Despite some ordinary weather we had a good turnout of about 130 vehicles of all shapes
and sizes, including some gorgeous bikes, the FJ coupe and the rocket powered go carts
(which really drew the crowd when he fired it up).
We sold over 700 gate tickets and the raffle also sold well.
The live music was great, thanks to Fernando from Acrobat who coordinated things, the
musicians who donated their time and talent, the PA man who did a great job despite some
pretty windy conditions and Jason Kemp who provide the stage and Kennards for the
generator (and much more).
We are yet to finalise the financial side of things as we are still chasing up outstanding
invoices.
Thanks to everyone who helped out on, before and after the show.
The On-Line auction is due to go live on 1st June, this gives us all of May to chase up more
sponsors and promote the auction to get maximum return for our charities. Dave Caban
and myself are working with Norm from Acrobat removals and SOS Technology (web page
people) on this.

What a top day! The weather was perfect and we had 23 cars on display. We were at the
