THE PARTIES OF THE DOWNPOUR

First, I would like to talk about the carnival is taking place in my town (Caldas). It is a rainy day,
because the carnival has as topic the rain. It is called fiesta del aguacero. A whole week of
music and dancing under the rain.

Nobody wears a costume, because is not that type of carnival, but many people are on the streets.
They do not care about getting wet. Many of them gets sick, because of the rain and the night.
But everybody accepts that is a good price for the fun they get out of it.
The music in the stage is vallenato, ranchera, and, sometimes, boleros. I am here beteewn the
people. They offer me drinks and invites me to dance. I am getting tons of fun. This is a new way
of enjoying the water. And guess what, if there is not rain, a fire truck shots water!
