PANTOGRAPH INSTRUCTIONS
Pantographs are designed for convenient enlarging or
reducing of drawings, pictures, or photographs.
The Pantograph offers 25 fixed enlarging ratios
of 1-1/8 to 8 times and fixed reducing rates of 8/9 to 1/8.
PA RTS:
(A) Pivot Base - To mount Pantograph to working surface
(B) Tracing Point - To trace original
(C) Lead Holder - To draw picture lead must be inserted in lead
holder and must be held in contact with the blank drawing paper.
(D) Balancing Pin - Must be on working surface
(E) Ratio Screws - Used to set desired ratio of enlargement or reduction.
(F) Pantograph Bars - Assemble as shown in F i g u re 1
(G) Pins - Used to attach pivot base to working surface
(H) Lead - inserted into lead holder to draw picture

NOTE: Both original and blank drawing paper must be securely
attached to the drawing surface to prevent any movement.
It may be necessary to reposition the Pantograph to
complete the copying of large originals.

the desired ratio of enlargement (1-1/8 to 8) from table. Make sure
that both of the ratio screws (E) are set at the same point on each
of the two bars being joined by each ratio screw (E).

EXAMPLE: To enlarge an original 2-1/4 times, place the ratio
screws (E) in the 2-1/4 position. Trace original with tracing H
