Silicone Micro Emulsion

For Permanent Finish

The finishing softener ADASIL PM, supports the finishing of high quality,
elegant fabrics. ADASIL PM gives a very soft smooth hand, is wash and dry
cleaning resistant and improves the sewability properties. A particularly
good handle is obtained on cellulosic fibers and their blends.

COMPOSITION

Silicone elastomer micro emulsion

TYPICAL PROPERTIES

Ionic activity: Non-ionic

Appearance: Transparent to opaque
Consistency: liquid
pH-value: 5 7 (undiluted)
Density: (20 C) 1.0 g/cm3
Compatibility: Compatible with nonionic, anionic and cationic finishing
products, with cross linking agents and catalysts usually
applied in resin finishing. Pre-trials are recommended.
APPLICATION

Operation Finishing
Substrate Woven and knit goods of all fiber types, especially of
cellulosic fibers and their blends
Aggregate Padding Machine / Low Liquor Turbulence Machines
Dissolving method Dilutable with cold water. Liquors containing Adasil PM
have a good stability. The pH value of these liquors
should be slightly acidic.
Application 10 30 g/l ADASIL PM
1.0 - 3.0 % OWF ADASIL PM
Time: 20 mins
Temperature: 40 C
pH-value 4.5 - 5.5 adjustable with acetic acid.
Drying The usual drying temperatures are sufficient to achieve
the mentioned properties; condensation is not
necessary. Condensation and fixation temperatures up
to 180C have no negative influence on the effects.

HANDLING AND STORAGE

Frost code 4
Product solidifies with continuing frost. It can be used
after thawing and stirring.
Storage stability 6 months under normal conditions.
Recommended storage temperature: over +10C and
down to +35C.
