Title of proposal : Architectural Design for Better Living in Bangkok

Introduction :
This project has goals to save fossil fuel, use land the most effectively, and prevent flood.
We have a vision to help our world become more eco-friendly with a future design of a city model.
We have come an idea of using a solar panel which might not be a new invention, however, we used
it to surround the city at 3 main places so that it will be able to produce more electricity. Plus, most
of the infrastructures will be high in order to reduce the surface area on the land by using the area
the most effectively. Lastly, we will let seawater to flow into the city along the city with a river
track in a fibonacci shape in order to make sure that the water will be enough provided to every
houses in the city and reduce risk of flood because water will always have a way to flow through
the ocean.

Objective :
Flood is one of the main problem in Bangkok because it lacks of the exit for water to flow
out from the city into the ocean. So, having a fibonacci river will make water easily flow. With a
river tract surrounding the city, exceeding water will not cause a flood instead it will go along the
river. Another problem is power energy. Nowadays, energy is not sufficient for people needs. So,
having solar panel will help to increase the rate of producing energy from sunlight while saving
fossil fuel. Lastly, high building will decrease the problem of using land ineffectively so that it will
increase more space for trees and forest.

Data analysis :
Making this project, it is required to use solar panel in order to save money in long term and
to save fossil fuel. Even though it costs a lot of money to make solar panel farms, it will reduce each
household electricity bill up to $600 carbon emission will reduce about 5 metric tons per year. We
expect that it will recoup investment in 17.5 years. Solar panel that is used is Mono Crystalline
Silicon.

Implementation plan :
This project can be made in the real situation by placing the solar panel in a certain place in
order to save the fossil fuel. This project will save the earth energy with the source of energy that is
inexhaustible which is sunlight or solar energy. We can do it, but it will cost a lot of money. In
11-12 years the solar cell will regain investment if base on the price from the Provincial Electricity
Authority and it can last for about 20 years, so 8 years would be the profit and save the fossil fuel. If
we can spread this idea around the world. We will save a lot of fossil around the world because we
use 3% a year from 2015, 10 year later the world will lose 30% of fossil fuel, so it is very important
to save the fossil fuel for the future.
