SSIS 2D and Multi-2D

workflow

Purpose

This powerpoint describes the workflow for

applying SSIS on 2D seismic data as well as the
Multi 2D (reducing a 3D dataset to a grid of 2D
lines) workflow.

(Optional)
(Optional) Spectral Blueing can be used to
improve the vertical resolution of the
seismic data and/or the dip steered
median filter can be applied to
improve the lateral continuity of
Filtered Seismic Data Create SteeringCube events (shown here).
For dip-steered median filter we
Filter SteeringCube recommend to use the Background
Track bounding surfacesIII (Optional) steering (BG-Fast steering with a
heavy horizontal median filter)

(Optional)
(Optional) Since the Chronostratigraphy is
created by following the dip
information of the SteeringCube, we
have to create a second SteeringCube
that belongs to the filtered data. If we
Filtered Seismic Data Create SteeringCube
would use the first SteeringCube that
is derived from the original data we
would be using the original unfiltered

data.
(Optional)
For SSIS we recommend to use a
detailed SteeringCube (FFT standard
without filtering)
