"Seeking to be a worshipping fellowship, experiencing the awareness of God,

recognising His person and responding to His leadership"
Church Letter April 2010
Last month Rick left us with the thought that we should WALK IN THE
LIGHT rather than stumble along in the darkness of this world. But how do
you do that? He continues ...

Wooo Hooooooooo! Confess to God.

Confession is a start. “Repentance” is to be sorry for our sins and change
to what we know we ought to be. It brings a new start. This is where our
heart is challenged. I know! But I have to say again:
Wooo Hooooooooo! “Forgiven!”
We are Free of guilt and shame. Not Satan, nor people or any power,
nothing can separate me from the love of God.
Living in the love of God, this is the liberty we have in Christ that we are
“free” from any rejection we might think God has against us. When we see
a cross, recognize it as a symbol of God’s love for us/you.
Romans 8:1-3
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ
Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the
Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free
from the law of sin and death. NKJV
Encourage each other
Walk, Jesus said. Take up your cross Daily and follow me. Recognize
God’s love for us/you; repentance, walk, follow, stand up. Keep your eyes
fixed on Jesus, read the bible, fellowship with others who share in the same
truth, encourage each other.
Hebrews 10:19-25
Hold Fast Your Confession
19 Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of
Jesus, 20 by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the
veil, that is, His flesh, 21 and having a High Priest over the house of God,
22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having
our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed
with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without
wavering, for He who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider one
another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the
assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but
exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day
approaching. NKJV
Tap into the other bunch of saved sinners and find out what it means to be
saved. To me, saved is when you have peace with God, to be able to talk
to Him and walk with Him, with the full knowledge of the fact that He has
plan for your life. It is time to get with His program.
Ephesians 1:3-6
Redemption in Christ
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed
us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as
He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should
be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us
to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good
pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He
made us accepted in the Beloved. NKJV
The church provides an opportunity for that fellowship to occur.

With love
Rick Schroder.
