Dear Mrs. Edwards,

As a high school that is continually expanding and improving, Chillingsworth High

School must be looking for teachers who are qualified to aid in school growth. I have
just completed a masters program in teaching First Grade. I am writing because I am
interested in fulfilling a part in your First Grade teaching department. I offer the
knowledge and training in the field as well as completing a student internship.

I believe that education is the key to success for young students. As a teacher at your
school, it is my goal to provide an environment, that is developmentally appropriate for
children and encourages students to realize their full potential. I have begun to realize
that education is very important in preparing children to achieve success throughout
their lives.

As a student as NC A&T State University, I have been successful in learning about

education and how children learn best through my experience with student teaching.
During my time student teaching I have utilized my skills in classroom management and
professionalism. I am confident that I can demonstrate my talents and skills at the same
degree in my success working for your fine learning institution.
