Things you know and things you learned.

We will use hamster as a experimenter. We will use 2 male hamster

First hamster is for control, so we will not do any thing with it
Second hamster is a experimenter meaning we will teach it.
* But both hamster will live in the same environment and have the same food
Little information about hamsters
There came from rodents family
There are two type of learning of the animal
1. Classical conditioning (before experiment)
2. Operant conditioning (the experiment)
We will use the multiple T-maze which is a combination of many letters T connect to each other

!
We will test the experiment by
focusing on whether the picture can stimulate the learning processes of the hamster by using counter conditioning.
The counter conditioning is a type of treatment which will help to replace obnoxious responses to a stimulus with
more pleasant. By using the counter conditioning it not only helps the rat remove the anxiety feeling toward the
picture, but also remove an uncomfortable feeling with the human that approach the hamsters .
The operant conditioning is specifically used in terms of the positive reinforcement to make the
hamster run through the maze with red spotted picture. The positive reinforcement is to adding a
reinforcing stimulus which help to improve and develop its behaviour. There were two pictures given to
one of the hamsters while another didnt get. The red spotted picture is where the food located, however,
the feeding food for the control group is located at different place which mean that the control group need
to take a guess which side located the food. The taught hamster learnt to find food by the given red spotted
picture, and it knew how to escape the maze faster.
To build the hamster maze, we bought so many materials which including future board, woods,
tape, plastic sheet, picture, hamster food, hinge, cage, card sleeves, eco bond glue, nails, and screwdriver.
These equipments and materials are used to finish the maze efficiently.
Procedure to run the experiment, we separated into two patterns; for the experimental animal (the
taught hamster), and the control group (normal hamster). For the experimental one, we build two T-maze
by using future board and eco bond glue, and then we screwed hinge and wood by using nails and
screwdriver for building small door. Next, we put the plastic sleeves into the doors and also put red spotted
picture in the plastic sleeves which hide the food inside. Then, we keep repeating this step for 5 days with
practicing the hamster by feeding the food in red spotted area. So the hamster started learning that red
spotted area is where the food located and they follow the red picture. Things goes the same with the
control group, the only difference is that it was fed without any red spotted picture. So it didnt learn how
to eat with sign.
We spent to run the experiment is about a whole month in totals.
