My name is Jagdeep Kaur; I am an Indian citizen living in Australia for studying

purposes. I arrived in Australia in October of 2013, in the same year I enrolled for an English

course in University of Technology Sydney (UTS) the program was between 8th October 2013

to 15th February 2014.

After a successful completion of the course, I was anticipating to enroll for Bachelor

of Science in a nursing course which did not happen. It was due to the unexpected

development of illness which saw me halting the course. It was a decision made when I was

dragonized and found to have lower back pains which the doctor said was due to tp epidural

during delivery of a baby. He later recommended me to be unfit for school work from 15th

March 2014 to 15th April 2014 inclusive. The medical certificate from Plumpton Medical

Centre is attached.

The University understood my state of health and released me to halt until I get well.

The general anticipation by the doctor is that the nursing course was more physical and it

would be set back to my health as I was unfit to carry out the required workload.
After consultation with the University, I was advised to take a deferment from my

studies in the same year July 2014, until when I would be fit for the classes. Due to the school

having one semester I was forced to resume my studies the following year February 2015.

When I completed my deferment session the situation had not gotten any better for me to

resume the classes. For this reason, I enrolled for less physical involving course which is

Diploma in Management and later advanced Diploma in Management which I completed.

Currently, I am enrolled in Bachelor of Management and aspiring to complete in 2018. The

certificates for completion of the English, as well as the advanced and a diploma in

management, are attached.

The enrolled and completed courses have a great impact in benefiting my native

country. To begin with, the English course completed enables me to have a critical aspect of

communication to many individuals and this makes it easy to carry out international business

for my country. Given it is one of the widely used means of communications it gives me the

chances to be able to take my career as a business manager to a higher level of economic

prosperity. The business management course enrolled plays a bigger part in my whole career

life as it is the ultimate career and employment in and outside my country.

Most of the courses as well as school programs are written and communicated in

English; it gives me a chance to be able to participate fully thus have a full potential in

exploring my career aspirations. As part of my education, I am aspiring to continue with my

studies and enroll to masters in management.

The relevance of the courses in my academic and employment background is vivid as

it has become part of me in the aspect of making progress in the economic sector. In my daily

activities in finding to employment among individuals, I opt to learn and find a solution on

entrepreneurship. It plays a significant role in making people independent and creative.

In the future and educational plan is embedded on the need to manage people it

becomes a crucial aspect to learn how individuals work at their best. I am planning to study

masters in management and major in human resource management. The courses I am enrolled

and the ones completed are directly anticipated to give me a better knowledge in the field, of

human resource management. On the other hand, to be able to manage individuals the crucial

aspect is communication, and thus I am in a good position to strike a good connection to

many people due to the English course previously enrolled.

There is a slight difference in the education and the general teaching in India and

Australia when one secures education in Australia I will have the upper hand in possessing

diverse knowledge in the business field. The Australian economy in general has been

experiencing a constant upward trend of growth, as this happens the resultant is a feature of

low unemployment is realized. When this is put into comparison to India it is found that it is

a developing open-market economy and this makes a string of other economic liberal

measures to follow thus this limits many aspects of development in other sector which is

education inclusive. When I complete my studies, and go to my home country, the diversity

of the knowledge acquired will enable me to be dynamic in the employability section.

I chose to study Australia for several reasons, to begin with, the education systems are

not reliance on the perspective of grades, but rather it is oriented to a more practical aspect.

The backing up of this with several assignments which boosts the nature of exposure one has

is a good indicator for me being competent later in my career and employment section. In

other places, plagiarism is not a big issue of concern when it comes to academic works, but it

is wholesomely a different thing in Australia which makes it more competitive in the job

market. In the centre of creativity and innovation there is a door to the vast appreciation of

scholars and credibility to ones original work.

The nature of the studies also plays a significant role in making one a responsible

citizen. It is a required skill in the outside world. It is initiated with the nature of students are

not forced to do anything, and thus it becomes a full responsibility of the student to learn all

the niches they need to get to make them successful. In a direct comparison on the study

environment, I am pleased with the favourable environment which lets one have the students

to study, apart from that the resources and the incorporation of digital systems help one

access resources from anywhere making it a good aspect about studying in Australia.

The anticipation of having a comfortable environment and resources makes it a choice

for me to study in Australia. I will later be of importance in bringing change and enable

international cooperation between my home country and Australia which will mean creating a

growing economy. I look forward for a continued mutual benefit from Australia.

Yours sincerely,
