Reflection
This essay, the literary analysis essay had to be one of the essays I enjoyed writing
most. The characters story had so much emotion written in it, the reason why I felt so passionate
to write about Rodrigo is because the events that had happen to Rodrigo are constantly
happening in the real world. I have come in contact with people in my life who have gone
through certain situations Rodrigo had gone through. With that being said I find it extremely
important to find passion in what I am writing, I believe that my essays turn out better if I am
drawn to it. Therefore, I believe this essay is my best out of the three. I initially did not want to
get much about my essay because I was actually really happy about how it came out but I had to
make some changes. The first thing I decided to do before anything was read my essay a handful
of times, so I could notice any grammar mistakes I made or saw sentences that need revising.
After I went and fixed my grammar errors, spelling, adding words, phrases comas etc. In my
fourth paragraph, I had written the article name twice which made the transition sloppy, I took
out where I wrote it twice which in my opinion made it much smoother to read. In my
conclusion, I had originally talked about Perla entering Rodrigos and the difference she tried to
make in his life. I also discussed that the book gives at the boy being dead, possibly. Through my
revision I took that all out. I believe it was important to take that out because I came to realize
that it transitioned towards Perla being saint like and as my professor mention I was just

summing the ending of the boys story. I made my conclusion more focused on how Rodrigo
