b) after 75 min (ca. 4500 sec.) > engine emergency operation --> driver
unsuccessful regeneration cannot automatically perform the regeneration any
more

Normal regeneration with reinjection

Is after 20 min. the regeneration is over 10% loading,


the regeneration in level 2 kicks in = increased
reinjection and hence higher exhaust gas
temperatures

If the DPF warning light is on, drive for about 15


minutes in 4th or 5th gear (automatic gearbox:
driving mode S) with at least 60 km/h between 1800
to 2500 rpm. Because of the increased temperature
the soot in the filter is burnt.
Loading <10% --> DPF- warning light goes out

tester is necessary. Loading <10% --> DPF warning
light goes out and fault entry can be deleted.
