Dear Mr. Bartholomew,

As a persistent, hardworking, and passionate student with outstanding critical thinking

skills, I would like to apply for the position of an incoming Junior at Gompers Preparatory

Academy.

As a student I have been dedicated to Girls Varsity Volleyball as far as sports, which has

allowed me to develop strong communication and team working skills. My involvement in

various events, including traveling to Belair with my team, has allowed me to get to know my

peers and discover my passions for my future as a whole.

These experiences have helped me to develop strong leadership and time management

skills, which I will carry with me throughout my high school career and on to college.

Personal attributes that I believe make me suitable for this position include:

Character: I AM STRONG, I AM POWERFUL, and I WILL NEVER GIVE UP!

Commitment: Never giving up on myself or my education and Staying involved in volleyball,

not missing any practices or games.

Positive Attitude: Coming to school everyday ready to learn and treating my teachers with the

respect and courtesy that they deserve.
