DECISION
INTRODUCTION
A. SUMMARY
In this Decision, the Department of Public Utility Control determines that the Ztek
CTU2SE Dinosaur State Park Fuel Cell generating facility qualifies as a Class I
renewable energy source as a fuel cell and assigns it Connecticut Renewable Portfolio
Standard (RPS) Registration Number CT00195-05.
By application dated November 29, 2005, Ztek Corporation (Ztek) requested that
the Department of Public Utility Control (Department) determine that the Ztek CTU2SE
Dinosaur State Park Fuel Cell (Ztek Dinosaur State Park Fuel Cell) generation facility
qualifies as a Class I renewable energy source.

Ztek Dinosaur State Park Fuel Cell is a fuel cell located in Rocky Hill,
Connecticut. Ztek Dinosaur State Park Fuel Cell began commercial operation on
January 1, 2005, and has a nameplate capacity of .25MW.
As provided in the application, Ztek Dinosaur State Park Fuel Cell is a fuel cell
facility located at 400 West Street, Rocky Hill, CT 06067. Ztek Dinosaur State Park Fuel
Cell is currently owned by Ztek Corporation. Ztek Dinosaur State Park Fuel Cell is
registered in the New England Power Pools Generation Information System. Ztek
Dinosaur State Park Fuel Cell is a behind-the-meter generation facility. As a behind-the-
meter generating facility located in Connecticut, FWPC Fuel Cell shall be subject to
audits by the Department. See DPUC Docket No. 04-05-13.
Based on the foregoing, the Department determines that Ztek Dinosaur State
Park Fuel Cell qualifies as a Class I renewable energy facility.
FINDINGS OF FACT
1. Ztek Dinosaur State Park Fuel Cell is a fuel cell located in Rocky Hill, Connecticut.
2. Ztek Dinosaur State Park Fuel Cell is currently owned by Ztek Corporation.
3. Ztek Dinosaur State Park Fuel Cell began operation on January 1, 2005.
4. Ztek Dinosaur State Park Fuel Cell has a total combined nameplate capacity of .25
MW.
5. Ztek Dinosaur State Park Fuel Cell is registered in the New England Power Pools
Generation Information System.

CONCLUSION
Based on the evidence submitted, the Department finds that Ztek Dinosaur State
Park Fuel Cell qualifies as a Class I renewable generation source pursuant to C.G.S.
16-1(a)(26).
