Goal: Reading News

Method for Goal: Below are steps to read news from a web page
Step1: Enter the web page www.ndtv.com in the browser and wait to load the
page
Operation: Watching the page to load.
Step2: Move the cursor to the image or hyper linked text web page
Operation: Moving the cursor.
Step3: Hold down mouse/press on the link .
Operation: Mouse click
Step4: Release the mouse left button.
Operation: Release the button.
Step5: Wait to load the content in the next page.
Operation: Wait to load the page.
Step6: Report Goal accomplished.

Goal: Go to the main page from after reading the news(Click NDTV Button from the
menu)

Method for Goal: Below are the steps to go back to the home screen after reading
the content from the above steps
Step1: Move the cursor over the button NDTV on the menu bar.
Operation: Moving the cursor
Step2: Hold down the left mouse button.
Operation: Holding the left mouse button
Step3: Verify the button got selected.
Operation: Watching the icon.
Step4: Release the mouse left button.
Operation:Release the button.
Step4: Wait to load the content of the home page.
Operation: Wait to load the page.
Step5: Report Goal accomplished.
Improvements:
1.Once move from home page to next detailed section.List the main news in the left
side panel of the web page,instead of asking the user to go back to the main page
and select the content.
2.List the trading news in the right side of panel.

Goal: Searching News using the search box

Method for Goal: Below Steps to accomplish Search
Step1: move the cursor over the search box and then, click into the box and place
the cursor there.
Operation: Moving the cursor and click time
Step2: Type the sting of content to be searched in the search box.
Operation: Typing the content
Step3: Move the cursor over the search icon.
Operation: Moving the cursor.
Step4: Press/key stokes.
Operation: Key Press
Step5: Wait to get the list of related items in the screen.
Operation: Wait to load the page.
Step5: Report Goal Accomplished.

Goal: Writing comments in the comments box and post

Method for Goal: Below steps to post comments.

Step1: Move the cursor over the text box.
Operation: Moving the cursor
Step2: Click and place the cursor in the text box.
Operation: click time
Step3: Type the desired content in the comment box.
Operation: Typing the content.
Step4: Move the cursor over the save/post to facebook Icon.
Operation: Moving the cursor.
Step5: Press/Key stokes.
Operation: Key Press.
Step6: Wait the content to be posted.
Operation: Wait to post the content
Step7: Report Goal Accomplished.

Improvement:
1. Once the web page got loaded by default keep the cursor placed in the
search box.
2. Before pressing the search button, list the related items in the screen, based
on the content typed in the search box (E.g. Google Search).
3. In the detailed content page keep the cursor place into the comment box,
so that user do not move cursor and place it.
