The command used is HGSDC: MSISDN = msisdn, SUD = a-b[-c] where SUD =
Subscriber Data, a = SUD code, b = SUD value part 1 and c = SUD value part 2
For example
HGSDC: MSISDN = msisdn, SUD = BAOC-1; means Barring of All Outgoing calls
Provided
HGSDC: MSISDN = msisdn, SUD = BAOC-0; means Barring of All Outgoing calls Not
Provided
The block involved in access barring in HLR is HTRAN. HTRAN information can be
found in Alex under Home Translation Functions Changeable Exchange Adaptation.
The mapping between the SUD and the CBA/TDCL is fixed in the MSC-S database and
cannot be changed.
0 No barring
BAOC 1 Operator determined barring of all outgoing calls and all outgoing
calls supplementary service.
The figure above shows the pre-defined mapping there is a possibility to do the mapping
in the MSC-S based on the network operator and that is given below.
OBZO-2 100...199 Operator determined barring of all outgoing inter-zonal calls except
those to the HPLMN country (CBAZ in MGISI).
In the access call barring analysis, the destination type of the call is compared with the
destination types (Main group) allocated to the call barring categories or trunk
discrimination class, respectively of the A-subscriber or the incoming trunk to decide if
the call has to be barred.
TDCL refers to Trunk Discrimination class which can be one or more values put together
(TDCL1&TDCL2) which in turn points to the SUD data.
Example
ANDSI: D=2-0, TDCL=1;
ANDSI: D=2-1,TDCL=1&6&&7;
