ABSTRACT

Forest is essential part of our ecosystem. It supplying oxygen, habitat for wildlife and protecting
the watershed. It is also major source of raw material for buildings and other products made from
wood such as paper, furniture, pulp and wood chemical. To fulfill the growing demand of wood
in industry along with maintaining the balance of natural resources and economy a detail study is
prepared. This project is for efficient utilization of wood from cutting to converting it into
timber. All the environmental effects of timber sawing is studied in it. To diminish the
consequences of timber sawing, an environmental friendly and economic effective solution is
presented.

1- Introduction:

Forest is a source of wood along with other natural resources which are essential for our
ecosystem. This project focus on the continual consumption of wood along with maintaining all
its essential benefits. Environmental effects of the timber sawing is studied in it. On the basis of
engineering practices efficient solution is proposed. This solution is for concerning the
environmental problems by efficient utilizing of resources.

2- AIM:

The aim of this project is improvement of environmental problems caused by timber sawing.
Those timber sawing methods are adopted which are effective, according to tree species.
Advanced technology is used according to best practices of engineering. These practices help in
the reproduction of forest.

3- Objectives:
Best cutting approaches for timber sawing with respect to tree species.
Efficient utilization of logging residues compatible with economic environmental,
and ecological objectives.

Use of combination of specialized timber harvesting machines, which are compatible

and less impact on the forest environment.

4- Motivation:

Forest are primary source of our ecosystem. Excessive cutting of forests by logs harvesting
companies can distress our environment. If forests will be cut down to this ratio soon we will
face starvation of wood and quite possible of oxygen. Forest not just provide the wood but also
important for biosphere. To overcome this issue there is a detail study about proficient solution
to overcome environmental problems caused unproductive exploitation of timber.

5- Problem Statement:

There are different approaches for timber sawing. These approaches are not maximum
utilizing the wood resources along with environmental problems. So, there arises a need of such
processes and practices which are ecological, environmental, and economic compatible.

6- Proposed Solution:

This project support the best practices for timber sawing. Which are cost effective and reduce
the environmental problems. This is compatible solution for forest reproduction.

7- Methodology:
A detailed study and survey will be conducted on timber sawing. All the environmental
problems caused by timber sawing will be consider. Best solution will be presented on the basis
of engineering practices and technology. This solution will help for improvement of problems
caused by timber sawing.
