Concept of Khilafah is pan-Islamism to promote thinking as one ummah and to avoid any
segregation based on color, geographical location, language and culture. It is to be very
clearly understood that it is NOT about toppling western governments in any manner.
Reviewing history and studying Khilafah's basic concepts will very clearly reveal that it
can only be established in Islamic countries. Therefore, this point of western governments
toppling is pointless. Secondly, it is also to be understood that greater cooperation is
essential for better global economy and also for the people living within Khilafah. If we
use an analogy, European Union inherits many aspects of khilafah (in political sense)
where they are harvesting the benefits of pan-Europeanism. So, if we look at it with an
open mind, it makes absolute sense for Muslim countries to get stitched together as one
body, as they always were for 13 centuries before being torn into pieces after
foreign interventions and wars that were not theirs. Also with analogy, if we look at
European Union as threat to Asian Governments and fear that European Union is going to
get established in America, we would be touching heights of irrationality. Similarly,
Khilafah can only be established in Islamic countries. Period.

Means of doing establishing khilafah is a scholarly debate. However, it is absolutely clear

that it can never be done using any form of violence, oppression and immoral acts.
Anyone who does that and claims that they are establishing Khilafah for the sake of Allah
and His messenger are 180 degree opposite to the commandments of Allah and Rasool
Allah, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him and may his mention be exalted.
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) came as mercy for all the worlds, Muslims as well as non-
Muslims. He even allowed non-Muslims to stay in his mosque - second of the most
blessed places in Islam. He even forgave all his enemy who gave him all the pain and put
him in circumstances where he lost his beloved wife and uncle. He forgave all of them
when he entered Makkah and even exalted their status by making their houses a place of
safety for everyone. It is therefore important to understand the correct methodology of
Khilafah in Islam and that which is created by the Khwarij of present age.

Some orientalists and Khwarij bring misquoted and half-quoted verses from Quran
claiming that Islam promotes violence. It is exactly same as showing someone a brick and
 saying it is the house. I have debated with many people coming up with such arguments. It
does not take long to figure out the senselessness of such claims if we look at these verses
in their correct context and in combination with understanding of topic being discussed in
that particular chapter of Quran. With many verses that were revealed during the wars or
in the time of war, Allah SWT clearly mentions in the preceding verses that if other side is
inclined towards 'peace', do not fight with them. Allah goes even further and says that He
does not like the oppressors. So those who do the brutal acts of oppression and violence
are getting Allah's wrath.

Next logical question is that how would we know about these things. The answer is very
simple - Do your first hand research and consult those who know. Many of our non-
Muslim brothers and sister make their opinion from what they listen from one side only.
As a basic principle of research, we have to understand all available information and
different point of views before making a conclusion. It is also important to clarify these
issues with authentic scholars and not an average person you find on road who happens to
be a Muslim. One of the objectives of this website is to dissolve these misunderstanding
and enable first-hand research. And as we do in any other field of life, when we are stuck
with anything and are doubtful, we consult our teacher and those who have expertise in
that area. Same should we do in understanding about Islam too. We should seek assistance
from authentic Islamic scholars before making any firm opinion.

Usool al Hadith, also referred to as "Foundation of Prophetic

Traditions" is a study of hadith compilation, preservation,
classification, terminology and interpretation.

To me, this is one of the most important subjects that all ) (
Muslims need to spend time on understanding.
)
Most Hadith books mention ahadith as they are collected. A
percentage of them is authentic and a percentage is not. This

science helps us identify weak and fabricated ahadith from the
authentic ones.
After you have build a basic understanding in this field, you
would come to know that most differences in Ummah are
because of those narrations which are weak and inauthentic.
Similarly, many books of history quote some incidents which
have weak isnad and they become a source of conflict within
muslims as well as a topic of debate with non-muslims.

Also, there are some people who totally reject hadith which is
in strong contradiction to Quran itself.

subject with an authentic Islamic scholar.

Some books related to Hadith Authentication works of Nasir ud Din Albani and its criticism:
Shaikh Nasir ud Din Albani was a 20th Century scholar of Hadith (Muhadith) who did tonnes of work on hadith authentication
and critically analysed almost all major works. He even pointed out a some weak narrations in Sahih Bukhari as well. A number
of other independant researchers agree with his findings as well.

However, he faced some criticism on his works from scholarly circles as well.
In the spirit of encouraging original research work and enable viewing information from both sides, we are presenting a few
relevant resources below.

In order to reach correct conclusion, one should do an un-biased review of arguments presented by Albani and those of his
critiques in the light of Usool-al-Hadith.
