1. Single multiple
2. Site (neck, shoulder, leg...)
3. Side (left, right, medial, lateral....)
4. Size (vertical x horizontal cm)
5. Shape (round, oval, irregular...)
6. Surface (smooth, nodular, elevated, depressed...)
7. Skin (redness, ulcerated, pigmentation, discharge, elements..)

Palpation (ST3 MRCP F2)

1. State again: single multiple/site/side/size/shape/surface/skin

2. Temperature (cold/warm)
3. Tenderness
4. Transilumination
5. Margin (well/ poorly defined)
6. Reducibility
7. Consistency (soft/hard/firm)
8. Pulsation (transmitted/ expansile)
9. Fluctuation
10. Fixity (mobile/fix)

Percussion
Less important. Only in certain swelling eg Hernia

Auscultation
Bruit (esp in pulsating swelling)
