To Whom It May Concern,

I have known Allison Malm for 1 year now and during this time I have had the pleasure
to work with her in a self-contained autism behavior program.

As a special education teacher, I can assure you that Allison has what it takes and is very
familiar with everything needed to work with individuals with special needs. She was
very structured and organized while working with students and helped them make
progress towards their independence skills.

She worked well with her co-workers and was liked and respected among all of the
people that worked in our classroom. The students in my classroom enjoyed having her
because she took the time to take interest in them and get to know them individually.
They respected and responded well to her because she was consistent and set clear
expectations. Allison is positive and skilled in many areas.

Her duties while working in my classroom entailed effectively instructing students with
both behavioral and learning disabilities in a multi-grade level classroom, working
positively with para-educators, intervening early in the crisis cycle to prevent behaviors,
de-escalating students after a crisis had taken place, keeping track of behaviors
throughout the day, taking students to and from the lunch room, along with monitoring
them during their earned free-time.

I have the utmost respect and nothing but the highest regard for Allison Malm. With her
experience, work skills, communication skills and understanding of at-risk children, I am
happy to recommend her for any teaching job she pursues.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can be of further assistance.
