TUTORING ACTIVITY PLAN for Elaina

ELA Objectives (for St. Agnes student):


Identify the different parts of the writing process
Review, model, and completing exercises to understand how to edit writing (Editing)

Describe the activity in each section and indicate high/low technology being used for each part
of the activity:

Warm-up (2 min) - Review the Editing Checklist with the student to


understand what to edit in her writing

Pre-Test (5 min) - The student will take a Quiz on Quizizz (8 questions)


- This quiz will review both material that was learned in the
previous session and new material that will be learned in
this session

Review of Prior -Sequence a story


Knowledge (3 min) - A short story will be read and she will be given cards with
pictures that describe the story. Once the story is read she will
have to put the cards in the order that they happened.

Use concrete objects to solve adding to and Taking away in addition and
subtraction problems
Children draw a model to show adding to a group and then explain the model to a
partner.
