STAN LEE was born Stanley Martin in New York City in 1922. He created the Fantastic Four, the
Hulk, Thor, the X-Men, Daredevil, Doctor Strange and Spider-Man. He invented a whole universe and
a mythology for his characters. He now produces every Marvel movie and he appears in most of
them. And yet, you must concentrate a lot if you wish to see him in a movie because it is very quick.

Detective Comics . The company is owned by Times Warner. Superman, one of its famous

MARVEL COMICS started in 1939 as Timely Publication and its DC Comics top rival. In 2009, the
Walt Disney Company bought Marvel for $4 billion. One of Marvels superheroes is Spider-Man. He
