EFFECT OF TREATMENT TO DECREASE PHOTOTHERAPY

BILIRUBIN LEVELS IN NEONATES HIPERBILIRUBIN IN THE
PERINATALOGI HOSPITAL DR. H. ABDUL MOELOEK LAMPUNG
PROVINCE IN 2016

ABSTRACT

One of the problems health problems often experienced by babies is

Hiperbilirubin. Based on medical records dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Lampung
Province who suffered Hiperbilirubin neonatal amount in 2013 amounted to
20.8%, in 2014 13.4% and in 2015 by 18.4%. The purpose of research known
therapeutic effects of photo treatment to decrease bilirubin levels in neonatal
Hiperbilirubin in space perinatalogi dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Lampung Province in
2016.
This type of research is quantitative, quasi experimental research design
approach to one group pre and post test. The population is all neonatal
experiencing Hiperbilirubin in space perinatalogi dr. H. Abdul Moeloek in May
2016 as many as 23 people, the total sample population, the sampling technique
accidental sampling. Univariate and bivariate data analysis using t test dependent.

The result showed the average level of bilirubin in neonatal care

Hiperbilirubin prior therapy photo by 11.91 and the average level of bilirubin in
neonatal therapy Hiperbilirubin after treatment photos of 9.78. Results of t test
dependent treatment effect of photo therapy there to decrease bilirubin levels in
neonatal Hiperbilirubin with a mean difference of 2.13 (p value = 0.000 <0.05).
Expected health officer dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Lampung province to maintain
therapeutic nursing action photos accordance with the technical guidelines and
procedures remain a step - step therapy photo so as to provide maximum results to
lower levels of bilirubin in patients Hiperbilirubin.
