Reasons for not filling up the teaching positions and action taken by the University to fill up the vacancies: The reasons for not filling up the
teaching positions are mainly due to poor response:-
1) in the reserved posts
2) at the levels of Associate Professor and Professor in Engineering/Architecture branches.

The vacant teaching positions have been advertised at regular intervals in the recent past. Selection Committee for various teaching positions have been
conducted in the month of September, 2014 and December, 2014. Action has been initiated for advertisement of the remaining vacancies.

Remarks: At this stage, teaching and non-teaching staff appointed against reserved quota is less than the prescribed quota of reservation. This is due to
Unreserved category occupying some of the posts belonging to reserved quota before implementation of reservation policy. These posts will be filled up
according to their respective reserved quota as and when the existing incumbent vacated the post.
