THE ERVIN HYPNOSIS CENTER

The Ervin Hypnosis Center is dedicated to helping people succeed in reaching their
maximum potential through the use of hypnosis.

Each person is unique and requires individual attention. Hypnotist Richard Ervin
consults with the client to understand the issue and tailor the session to fit the
individual's need.

Richard studied hypnosis while working on his undergraduate degree in Psychology

at the University of Memphis. His studies continued while pursing his Masters
degree in Management and Human Relations at Webster College. Richard later
attended the Southern Institute of Hypnosis to complete the course work required to
gain his certification and the title of Master Hypnotist.

Namaste Avatar

There have been many teachers in my life. These teachers have

come in the form of Avatars who provided me a simple
“awareness of the original intention” of life as described in
Jeffrey Armstrong’s book Spiritual Teachings of the Avatar. With
loving kindness, these wonderful keepers of spiritual wisdom
called Avatars or teachers have passed onto me gentle secrets and
treasures with magical precision in moments when I have needed
it most. In these moments, they have encouraged me, taught me,
and listened to my dreams and fears. I have been very fortunate
because the universe has provided me a great number of teachers
who are wise, warm, intelligent, patient, and eager to learn
themselves. I must admit though that some of the greatest lessons
have been taught to me by my own children. Each time I look at
their faces, they silently ask me to be all that I can be and to live
life in a loving and authentic way. They accept me just as I am
Learn More and love me unconditionally.

To me, this is the greatest gift that I have ever witnessed...true

and unadulterated love.
Letter From the Editor

Each and every day I say “Namaste” to my own children because

I honor the presence of the Divine within them. Namaste has
many meanings. One of them is “I see you as a beautiful Divine
being whose eternal consciousness pervades your body and
mind, and is the light of your true self, shining across to mine. I
bow to that transcendent being that is the real you.” (from
Spiritual Teachings of The Avatar) In essence, I look at my
children’s faces and say “I recognize you for who you truly are
and I am aware that you recognize my true essence as well.”
When I am uncertain, unaware, or unable to express my own
divine self, they remind me of who I am. Their pure hearts and
shear laughter shepherd me into a bliss that is filled with both
sacred and earthly wisdom. The pure hearts of my children and
all children are able to “tap” into the essence of people, animals,
and God. Clarity and vision allow children to be the perfect
receiver for messages from the Divine and they are impartial to
how or when they relay this information to others. As conscious
parents, we must realize that children are pure translucent energy
to be respected, honored, and loved as the wonderful beings that
God created. It is our duty as parents to say and live from a
“Namaste” perspective in a conscious and determined way.

My own children challenge me to change my viewpoints,

question the way I was parented, and listen closely to my inner
guidance for queues on how to be a conscious parent that feeds
their individual nature, abilities, talents, and skills. They ask me
to release the old and embrace the goodness, abundance, light
and love.

I am a better human being for having children. Although children

may not be part of everyone’s journey, it is mine. I am blessed to
be on this path as a conscious parent, student, and guide.

WATCHING

ate one night an old and very
wise master teacher took his
students into the village, saying
to his young protégés, I am old
and helpless and have no
money. Go and follow people
who are walking alone along the dark
side streets and when no one will see you
pull them into a dark corner and take
their money. Do them no harm, but bring
me the money. All the students readily
agreed but one who replied, but master,
there is never a time when no one will
see me because my Self is always
observing what I do. With this the master
shouted with joy, saying alas there is one
among you who knows the truth about
himself! Let this be a lesson by which
you all live your entire lives. And of
course, they all lived happily ever after.

 There is within each of us an inner observer, a divine "Self", who lives in absolute silence. It is always
watching us, observing our thoughts, deeds and actions. It never judges what we do because It only knows
unconditional Love. It simply observes and reports to us what It sees, leaving the “judging” to us. This is
the point where some people choose to "go unconscious" and live in total denial of their spiritual truth. As
we evolve spiritually we become more sensitive to the reports from that inner observer. As we grow we
also discover that while ignorance may seem like bliss,
one day our karma inevitably catches up with us! Karma
is simply another term that describes the law of cause and
effect: What goes around, comes around. This is when the
idea of integrity takes on a whole new meaning.

The word integrity comes from the root word integrate

which means to bring all the parts together as a whole. To
live with true "spiritual integrity" means incorporating a
conscious awareness of this Self's (the Inner Observer)
presence at all times, integrating it into everything we
think, say and do, and, not because we "should", or
because God is watching and keeping cosmic score, but
INNER SELF because we can; it is our opportunity to align with our

spiritual nature — who we really are. It is how we evolve as spiritual beings on this human journey. This
practice of bringing all the parts together as a whole, to integrate, builds authentic, spiritually grounded
character — and character is what you do with who you are when nobody is watching.

Each of the students in this story represents a different element of our own being; The human (egoic)
element was willing to follow along with any plan which would result in gain, with no thought given to
the spiritual reality of how the action would affect our soul Self. The young student who challenged his
master is symbolic of that part of us who knows who we really are--a spiritual being. Which of the
students will you identify with today? Make a choice to live consciously today, not just because your Self
is watching, but because it is honoring who you really are; a divine expression of God. God’s Love finds
fuller expression today by means of everything you think, say and do.

That’s Real Character.
