Prerequisite:AworkingknowledgeinOpenTextVIM

Introducon:AdocumentinVIM(DPdocument)canbecreatedusing
oneofthefollowingways:

1. OCR:InvoicesarescannedandreadusingOCR.Thevalues

fromthescannedinvoicesarelledintheDPdocument.

2. ElectronicdocumentslikepdforXML:Invoicesarecreated

byreadingandpassingthevaluesfromelectronicdocument
toDPdocument
3. Manuallycreangthedocument:Documentsaremanually

createdusingeitherOAWDor/n/opt/vim_7ax1.The
invoicesaremanuallyaached.

Ineitherofthecases,acopyoftheinvoice(scannedimageorpdf)is
aachedtotheDPdocument.TheseinvoicesarestoredinContent
RepositoryServerorArchiveServer.ArchiveLinkisresponsiblefor
interacvebetweenArchiveServerandVIMand/orSAP.ArchiveLink
documenttypeisassignedtoaworkowwhenthedocument
associatedwithitisuploaded.

EarlyArchiving:Itistheprocesswheredocumentsscannedarearchived
beforethedetailsextractedfromthemareenteredintothesystem.

Followingconguraonneedstobedoneforit:

1.CreateContentRepositoryID:Inordertoarchivethescanned
imagesweneedtorstcreatetheContentRepositoryID.Belowarethe
steps:

a.Createcontentrepositorybyexecungtransacon
OAC0andclickoncreatebuon

b.Enterthedetailsasperyoursystemrequirements.
DocumentAreawillbeArchiveLink.

2.CreatePresengFolder:DocumentscanbestoredusingOAWD.
Iftherelateddocumentsaregroupedthenitgivesmoreeecvewayto
manageandcreatedocuments.Apresengfolderrepresentsapreset
groupofdocumenttypes.Theycanberelatedbyworkplaceorbyan
applicaon.Foreachgroup,wecandeterminetheagentsresponsible
foritscorrespondingworkitem.

workingfineexceptonething.WhenIgenerateanunsignedurlviaFM
ARCHIVELINK_URL_GENERATEandthentrytoaccessthedocumentviatheurlit
saysthatthemandatoryparameterseckeyismissing.WhenIdothesamething
forthestandarddocumenttype/OPT/ICC.Thisworksfine.Canyouadvisemein
whichpartofthecustomizingIneedtocorrectthis?
