Deluge-Preaction Control Panel
The Micro 1001/1000E Control Panel is supplied
with the following standard features:

C Two Class A or Class B supervised detection zones

programmable for single zone or cross zone detection

Description

The Chemetron Fire Systems Micro 1001/1001E Con-
trol Panel has been designed as a compact control
center for Single and Dual Hazard Deluge and Preaction
applications. The microprocessor based unit is suitable
to perform detection and control functions associated
with the following:
C NFPA 13 Sprinkler Systems
C NFPA 15 Water Spray Fixed Systems
C NFPA 16 Deluge Foam-Water Systems
C NFPA 16A Foam Water Spray Systems
C NFPA 72 Local Signaling Systems
The Micro 1001/1001E features four power limited
inputs that are Class A or Class B supervised: Two
detection zones, suitable for smoke detectors, thermal
detectors and normally open alarm initiating devices.
The detection zones are programmable for single zone
or cross zone detection. Inputs are also provided for
Waterflow or Pressure Alarm and Supervisory Tamper
or Pressure indications. Two Class A or B indicating
Alarm Circuits and two Class B Releasing Solenoid out-
puts are also provided.
A Dual Hazard option is programmable to provide
independent releasing to separate hazard areas or com-
bined releasing for simultaneous releasing applications.
The Micro 1001/1001E is supplied premounted in a
Nema 1 enclosure with a hinged door. It includes an
integral 24 VDC standby battery system capable of pro-
viding in excess of 90 hours of battery back-up service.
Optional modules available for the Micro 1001/ 1001E
include:
C Volt / Ammeter Module to monitor the battery
voltage and the battery charging current.
C Zone Relay Board to provide an additional Alarm
and Trouble contact as well as independent con-
tacts that transfer in conjunction with each of the
Indicating Alarm outputs and Releasing outputs.
