Title: New Truck Attachments at Ardagh Group Improve Speed of Operations

Ardagh Group is Europes largest paints & coatings metal packaging provider,
manufacturing packaging for Europes biggest brands. A truly global operation, Ardagh

down-gauging, shaping, decoration and convenience features.

The Group produces packaging for some of the biggest brands on retail shelves across
all market sectors, such as aerosols, beverages, nutrition, food and seafood. Opening

To assist with the complex task of moving the diverse variety of products and to keep
productivity levels running at maximum levels, B&B Attachments has supplied the
packaging provider with KAUP Double Pallet Handler and Rotator Forklift truck
attachments to its Norwich site.

The KAUP Double Pallet Handler attachment, fitted to Jungheinrich forklift trucks, has
two sets of hydraulically-operated forks, which function in a synchronized way. This
ensures that the centre pick-up of the load is guaranteed. This motion provides a quick
and efficient method of handling goods. The attachment has been designed specifically
for transporting several pallets simultaneously, and can be quickly and easily altered to
handle either single or pairs of palletized products.

The KAUP Rotator attachment is fundamental for onsite operations when loads require
rotating, and is used by Ardagh to empty containers, to turn palletised and non-
palletised goods, and to deal with waste. Rotators can be equipped with a fork carriage
and forks, as well as with clamps or other load handling attachments. KAUP Rotators
allow for optimal visibility when approaching loads, whilst increasing driver confidence
and ensuring safe and secure handling. The hydraulic drive is located on the side away
from the operator resulting in excellent visibility, enabling fast and reliable operation.
