Exercise Warehouse 1, PART 1 How to Open, add parts to and close a Work order
Open
Open Lucity Web and select your open work order

The open work order this week is 17-000119

Select the open plus

 Select add Materials to open the add work order resources- Materials

Select form button to open the materials/parts form

Select a part
Select Save and close
Close
At the end of each week the work order will be closed and a new work order will open for the next week
To close a work order

Select the open folder

Change current status to 999 Complete

This will close the workorder and parts cannot be added

Open Lucity Web
*parts and locations cannot be added to a warehouse in Lucity Mobile
Open the WHSE tab
Open Warehouse
Select an Active Warehouse

Select the + symbol in front of

the Warehouse, this will open
the warehouse locations.

Select Location if the location

open is not already opened

Select the Add a Record

button to add a location

Enter the location information

All barcodes need to be added to Lucity through the Desktop application Hint: Parts and

From the WHSE Inventory tab select Parts Mobile, Only
Find the part that needs a new barcode Lucity Web.

Select the part folder to open the Edit parts page

Scan, type or copy the part number to the Barcode field.
o The barcode will display as text but will print as barcodes in the barcode reports and labels.
o The only special characters that are allowed in a barcode are dashes - .
PART III - How to add an image to a part
A. Adding an image in Lucity Mobile Only
Open the Lucity Mobile application on the IPad and sign in

Select Lookup
Select Parts sandwich

Enter a part number or any key words from the part description and select search
o Select Search without entering text first will bring up the entire parts list
Select a part and Done to open the parts location page

Select Attach an image to open the camera and use the Photo
 The image of the battery will be added to the part lookup page

Future Reports will be able to print the images of the parts. ( current reports do not include images)
Once an image is added it can only be removed in Lucity web but multiple images can be added to a part.

B. Adding and managing images in Lucity Web

Login to Lucity Web and select WHSE Inventory
Select Parts and highlight a part
Select the documents icon to open the documents window, Images and parts documentation can attached to a part.
o Links to product web pages can also be attached to a part in the links tab.
PART IV - How to add new stock or record lost stock to a part in a warehouse.
Open Lucity Web Hint: Stock can be
