5 mins New Grouping From yesterdays lesson, many students did not
behave appropriately and found it difficult to
- Groups of 3 or 4 already planned out focus so need to establish new seating plan.
- Do not let students swap or change seats Opportunistic as they need to be in groups.
5 mins Discussion on new and effective methods Discussion from what students have come up
with. Modelling a good discussion, valuing each
- Whole class, eyes to the front, no headphones, leave others opinions. They will need these skills

10 mins Theme Prop Draw A fun and exciting way to give out ball themes.
Students will not feel they have been assigned
- Whole class activity, custom blank screens these themes but rather by chance so cannot
- Get back into your allocated seats, stay in groups complain about their theme.
- Show groups on projector
- One student from each group comes and draws out a prop
related to a school ball theme that they now have been
assigned from the draw
- Discuss in your groups what your theme could be
- 5 guesses max from each group
- Reveal and confirm any themes that students could not guess
35 mins Idea Generation - Forced Fitting Modelling a new technique that students can
apply to generate ideas first in order to have a
- Model forced fitting technique on board using a theme more focussed researching rather than jumping

35 mins Concept Sketches - What I know Students need to apply the ideas they have
