Ref- The Hon’ble Supreme Court vide judgment dated, 12.02.2004 in Civil Appeal No884 of 2002 filed by Smt.Chandravathy.P.K. and others and C.K Saji and others, has made a finding that there cannot be any doubt whatsoever that as separate seniority lists were being maintained in respect of the Degree holders, Diploma holders and certificate holders once a diploma holders acquiring a qualification of a Degree in Engineering opts for being included in the stream of the Degree holders, he would have to be placed at the bottom of the relevant seniority list. But inadvertently a common seniority list of Degree holders and Diploma holders were prepared and maintained for promotion. Therefore, following the findings of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in C-A.No.884/2002 it has been decided to split up the common seniority list of Degree holders and Diploma holders in the post of Executive Engineers. Hence a separate provisional seniority list of Executive Engincers under Degree quota is published herewith.
