Content Standard :
1.1 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to pronounce words and speak

Lesson Objectives : By the end of the lesson, pupils are able to:

(i) Talk about their kites in a role play on a given situation.


(ii) In groups of three listen to the audio tape and sequence the pictures of how to make a kite
correctly
(iii) Listen to the instruction orally and make a kite in a groups of threes

1. Video clip of a song entitled Lets go fly a
(5 minutes) 1. Teacher comes into the class and shows a kite by Mary Poppins. (Appendix 1)

Presentation
1. Audio tape of how to make a kite (Appendix 2)
2. Envelope which contains pictures of the process
(15 minutes) 1. Pupils are divided into groups of

Instructions:

Step 1: Tie the two bamboo sticks (lidi) together


Step 2: Glue the bamboo sticks (lidi) on the paper.
Cut the paper into diamond shape.
Step 3: Use a ribbon to make the tail of the kite.
Decorate the kite.
Step 4: Tie your kite string at the point where the two
pieces of bamboo sticks (lidi) meet. The kite is
ready to go.

from other groups to continue the role
play
8. The representatives will take turn to do

Jazz chant:
1. Pupils are divided into group A and
