Introduction
eAMintegrateswithQuality,enablingyoutocollectqualityresultsonyourassets.Ifanassetisnotuptotherequired
standards,aWorkRequestcanautomaticallygenerate.Thischaptercontainsthefollowingtopics:

AmaintenanceWorkOrdertransitionsthroughvariousstepsinitslifecycle(See:eAMWorkOrderStatuses).Oneofthesteps
inthelifecycleisCompletion.Certainqualityplansmightapplytothetransaction,dependingonthequalityplan'ssetupandits
associationtotransactionsandtriggers.Alistofqualitycollectionplansthatappliestothecompletiontransactionappears
duringthecompletionprocess.Ifaqualityplanisspecifiedasmandatory,resultsareenteredbeforethetransactioncan
finish.Otherwise,resultsentryisoptionalorcandefer.

Whilecreatingacollectionplan,youhavetheoptionofaddingcollectiontriggerstotheplan.Triggersarerestrictionsthatyou
defineforacollectionplan.Forexample,WorkOrdersforassetsthatbelongtotheTRUCKAssetGrouprequirequalityresults
entryforthecollectionplan.Datacollectionisinitiatedifallcollectiontriggerconditionsaresatisfied.
