About Incident Reports


This Incident Report was prepared by S.E.A.L. Security Solutions, LLC for the Rice Military Civic Club. The
S.E.A.L. Security Dispatch Center receives calls concerning dangerous or potentially threatening situations or
activity, and observations of incidents that occurred in the area. These calls have been recorded to provide the
Rice Military Civic Club information that could impact operations and reputation.
The report is meant to be a month-long summary of notable incidents as reported in the officers daily
reports. During an officers patrol, he or she will do many things that arent recorded, including but not
limited to showing a presence to proactively ward off unwanted activity, speaking with residents about
problems and concerns, and checking out suspicious vehicles, people, and activities.

About S.E.A.L. Security


S.E.A.L. Security was contracted to safeguard residents in your community and be on call during in high-risk
situations. All S.E.A.L. officers are armed and patrol in marked patrol units. S.E.A.L. Security takes a
proactive position on patrolling and securing the community. Our expanded canine (K-9) division includes
foot patrol in your community. In addition to patrol services, our dogs are trained in drug and explosive
detection. Our specially trained experts and their canine partners can be one of the most effective and
productive security tools available to dissuade, discourage, and prevent crime. In the interest of safety, we ask
that residents do not approach the K-9 or attempt to pet them. We appreciate everyones assistance.

Friday, June 2
1:19 A.M. Officer responded to a residential alarm on the 100 block of Asbury. HPD also responded. The
home remained secure and undisturbed.
10:07 A.M. Officer responded to the 6100 block of Hamman where a neighbor reported a lot of activity
at a vacant home. Officer found the home was being cleaned for new residents.
5:52 P.M. Officer responded to a residential alarm on the 700 block of Reinicke. Upon arriving the
homeowner confirmed it was a false alarm.

Saturday, June 3
9:00 A.M. Officer responded to the 5200 block of Blossom to review a residents surveillance footage.
3:51 P.M. Officer responded to the 5200 block of Feagan regarding two teenaged males, one with a bike,
possibly dealing drugs. They were gone on arrival.
9:09 P.M. Officer on patrol on the 600 block of Asbury spotted a vehicle parked and unoccupied with an
open trunk. The vehicle did not appear to have been broken into. Officer attempted to find the owner
but was unable, and the officer closed the trunk.

Monday, June 5
3:08 P.M. Officer responded to the 6100 block of Stillman regarding a suspicious, parked and occupied
vehicle. The vehicle drove off when the officer approached.

Wednesday, June 7
6:59 A.M. Officer responded to Lacy regarding a suspicious pedestrian, searched the area and confirmed
he was no longer in the neighborhood.

8:50 P.M. Officer responded to the 200 block of Malone on a complaint about an apparently mentally ill
resident there who kept coming outside with his rear end exposed. HPD also responded, but they were
unable to talk to the subject as he was inside the residence and they left. The S.E.A.L. Security officer did
speak with his sister, however, who said he would be leaving in a week. The officer asked her to make
sure he either stayed inside or came out only fully dressed.

Friday, June 9
3:00 P.M. Officer on patrol spotted a door-to-door solicitor on Rose, and removed him from the
neighborhood.
9:00 P.M. Officer on patrol spotted a vagrant male sitting by Roy at Floyd near the church. He claimed he
was there looking for a job. Officer removed him from the neighborhood.

Saturday, June 10
1:32 P.M. Officer responded to a residential alarm on the 600 block of Lester, arriving within two
minutes. Officer spotted an ADT Security Services vehicle in the driveway and spoke to the technician
who was unaware of the alarm. Officer then talked to the homeowner who confirmed it was false.
3:00 P.M. Officer responded to a report of a male walking into driveways in the Woodcrest area and
found him. Officer determined he had dementia and followed him until he returned to his own home.
There, the officer asked his wife to keep him from going out on his own.

Sunday, June 11
4:00 P.M. Officer responded to a residential alarm on the 1200 block of Malone, where the resident was
out of town. Officer found the home remained secure and undisturbed.
11:56 P.M. Officer responded to the 5200 block of Blossom regarding someone ringing the
complainants doorbell. The officer searched the area and found nothing suspicious.

Tuesday, June 13
5:40 A.M. Officer spotted a suspicious vehicle at Rose and another on Asbury and ran them out of the
neighborhood.

Wednesday, June 14
1:39 A.M. Officer responded to a residential alarm on the 5400 block of Gibson: a garage door left open.
Officer found the resident on the street with a flashlight searching the area. He stated that someone had
stolen his remote a year earlier and then stole everything of value. At first, he thought it was a false

alarm, but then he realized his garage door was up. Officer searched the area and found nothing
suspicious.

Thursday, June 15
2:53 P.M. Officer responded to the 5200 block of Blossom regarding a subject standing in the
complainants neighbors yard, smashing something. The complainant said his neighbors were not
home. Officer searched the area and found the subject to be gone on arrival.

Wednesday, June 21
9:51 P.M. Officer responded to the 300 block of Knox where the resident, who was out of town, said she
could see on her surveillance video that there was an unfamiliar vehicle parked and unoccupied in her
driveway. Officer found that the vehicle belonged to a guest of a neighbor. The guest reparked.

Friday, June 23
4:57 P.M. Officer responded to the 2000 block of Truro regarding a complaint about a vehicle parked in
the street blocking traffic. Officer found the vehicle parked properly and not impeding traffic or access
to driveways.

Monday, June 26
9:28 A.M. Officer responded to the 5800 block of Maxie regarding an ex-boyfriend refusing to leave the
front door of the complainant's home. Officer searched the area and confirmed he was no longer in the
vicinity.

Tuesday, June 27
12:47 P.M. Officer responded to Detering and Blossom regarding a male searching trash cans. Officer
arrived on scene and attempted to engage the subject, who initially ignored the officer. After the officer
had made it clear he was not going to leave him alone, he gave the officer his name and address but said
he had no ID. Officer removed him from the neighborhood.
1:16 P.M. Officer again spotted the subject from the above entry, on Lilian headed west on a black
bicycle. Officer performed a U-turn to approach, but he was delayed by a moving truck and lost sight of
him. Officer searched the area and confirmed he was no longer in the neighborhood.
