Some units have included a lighting fixture. AM unils include a GFCI (Ground Fault (Circuit Interrupter) that is attached to the cord. Connecting the Softub spa to an improperly wired circuit, or using fan extension cord, may cause damage to the motor unit that is not covered under ‘warranty. D. Installation Instructions, Continued OUTDOOR INSTALLATION ‘You may place the Softub spa on any smooth surfuce (tlle, concrete, wood), brick oF sand), Verify there are no sharp objects under the tub prior to set-up. Itis suggested that you do not place the Softub spa in an area where dirt and debris may be tracked into the lub, Cheek your local eades for restrictions (i.e, childproof gates). Your dealer may offer a variety of accessories, These include gazebos, spa enclosures, tnd decks. A solid foundation is mandatory to ensure stability of the structure or deck. For easier maintenance, cleanliness, and to prolong the life of your Softub, always use the specially made protective cover, available at your dealer. INDOOR INSTALLATION Water splashing on the floor during use may cause a walking hazard andfor structural damage unless good drainage is provided. The use of a catch basin capable of holding the tbs capacity of water is recommended as a safeguard in the event of a major spill. Proper building material must be used in the arca surrounding and beneath the tub. Take into consideration the room humidity, which will exist due to high temperatures. Providing natural or freed ventilation in the room will belp maintain comfort and ‘minimize moisture damage to the surrounding enviroament. When all wrinkles are removed, continue to fill until water level is about 2 inches above the highest et 12. Set the temperature where you will be most comfortable, Hint: The tub will heat faster if you turn off the air contrat (fewer bubbles) = it's the handle on top af the motor unit, and cover the dub with the lid. The water temperature will rise at about 1 ~ 2 degrees F per hour, depending on the model, The Sofiub spa wil turn off afer the water reaches the set temperature. Operation ‘Your Sofiub spa has been designed to be simple to operate and maintain ‘TEMPERATURE SETTING ferent settings, you will find the temperature most comfortable for you. ‘The thermostat will automatically torn the tub on and of as the temperature fll below, then reaches, the set temperature to maintain the water temperature you have selected all day long, 104° F740® Cis the maximum temperature setting forthe tb. By experimenting with di JETS When the water is atthe set temperature, the jets will not be on. you tub, the JETS button on the contral panel setivates a timer that overties the temperature you have selected. This turns the jets on for a 15-minute period. If you want the jets to ‘top within that 15-minute peviod, press the JETS button again, Dring use (lid off and sir valve open}, the ster temperature usually drops enougli to allow the thermostat t0 keep the motor unit running after the 15-ninute petiod.
