LINE & LANES ALONG THE ROAD
Road markings are to guide warn or give orders
A sub-broken line with long markings and short gaps is a hazard warning line. It tells drivers not to overtake unless the road ahead is clear.

An unbroken white line tells drivers not to over take or cross unless when getting in or cross unless when getting in or out of a building or a
side road. This kind of lines is found on one-way roads.

A short broken white line which divides the road into lanes tells drivers to keep to the right -hand lane except when over taking or turning
left.
