Bedford Panthers FC would like to invite you to our inaugural Futsal Tournament at our
ground at the Bedford Sports & Hockey Centre, Chester Road Bedford.
The tournament is a celebration of Futsal, fun and quality play. It is obviously also a fun
warm up to the forthcoming season.
The tournament will be for Under 9’s to Under 15’s with a separate section for adults. The
age group is for the forthcoming 2010-2011 season.
(We should cheekily state to all, that Shouting “Get rid of it” is banned)
Two Groups of five (if enough teams enter) to ensure that no team will play in consecutive games - giving
time for managers/coaches to assess performance and formation.
We are aware some of you may not be fully aware of the specific rules of futsal and we strongly recommend
you look at the rules via our link on the main form.
The referees will be asked to show sensible leniency in this, our first futsal tournament.
Basic rules are all matches for all age groups are 5 a side with a roiling subs scenario. For this tournament,
matches will be 20 minutes long with a very brief half time interval.
You are allowed unlimited substitutions and all squad sizes must be a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 12.

Entry will be on a first come, first served basis and NO entries will be accepted without the entry fee in the
form of a cheque per team entered, accompanying the entry form along with your local FA Affiliation
Number for the Season 2010-2011. (This is a pre-requisite directive from the Bedfordshire FA. Your Club Secretary or
local FA should know your affiliation number for the new season)
Time is of an essence as the Closing Date for entries is Monday 16th August 2010. Please get your
entry in early to avoid disappointment.
Managers of successful entrants will be informed in writing, as per the entry form, by Tuesday 24th August.
Maps and schedule details will be forwarded to participating teams in at the same time.

BLOCK CAPITALS the team name, age group and manager’s name of the team being entered.
5. No Application will be accepted without ENTRY FEE (in the correct form) or confirmed without
the FA AFFILIATION NUMBER for the 2010-2011 season. (NEXT season not last season)
