Tipo de productos de la minera de cobre. La relacin entre la produccin pirometalrgica (Concentrados y Ctodos ER-RAF) e hidrometalrgica (SX-EW) es variable y depende de varios factores,
sobre todo del tipo de yacimiento explotado. A futuro se espera que se reduzca el procesamiento de minerales mediante SX-EW en Chile, debido al agotamiento del mineral secundario, ya que el
cobre hiprgeno o primario requiere un tratamiento va flotacin, electrorrefinacin/refinacin a fuego y fundicin.
Product types of the copper mining industry. The relationship between pyrometallurgical (Concentrates and ER-RAF Cathodes) and hydrometallurgical (SX-EW) production varies and depends on many
factors, especially the type of deposits being mined. In Chile, it is expected that, in the future, ore processing by SX-EW will decrease due to the depletion of secondary copper deposits since hypogene
or primary copper requires treatment via flotation, electro-/fire-refining and smelting.
