In the field of technology has brought to the world various inventions that make life
a more pleasant and practical experience. And we are not just referring to color
television.

Why if Mexico is rich in natural and human resources, it is not considered a country
of the so-called First World; Although this is a complex issue with many edges,
there are approaches such as the following, which show the lack of support for
scientific and technological development as one of the possible causes.

Mexico has and has had great potential to develop great artifacts along with the
United Kingdom and United States. Many of the inventions have and are very
important nowadays since from there were generated great industries and powers
that manage the same inventions.

1. Control piles: Due to the complex characteristics of the subsoil of Mexico City
that has caused the sinking of buildings, the engineer Manuel Gonzlez Flores
invented the piles of control that is a modification to those supported on firm
surfaces.

2. Pentametallic catalyst: It was created by the scientist Juan Manuel Lozano and
is used in the hydrogen peroxide (jet propulsion) rocket engines, which is the most
important piece to generate its energy.

3. GNOME Network Model Environment: It emerged in August of 1997 as a

desktop environment and graphic development infrastructure for operating systems
Unix / Linux, composed of free software, created by Miguel de Icaza and Federico
Mena.

4. Google and Oracle: Mexican professor of Stanford University, Hctor Garca

Molina was the one who advised and coordinated the doctoral thesis of the then
students and founders of Google, Larry Page and Sergey Brin, who were looking
for a better internet search engine.

Garca Molina also created some innovations in Oracle, where he is currently one
of the main managers. And he's also an advisor to Yahoo !.

1979, based on engineering knowledge of cost reduction, quality, reliability,
characterization and specification of components and systems.

9. Television in color: Guillermo Gonzlez Camarena invented in 1940 a system to

transmit television to color: the Sequential Field Thermodynamic System. Later it
created a simpler system to generate color, the Simplified Bicolor System
Launched the color television in Mexico.

In 1950, Columbia College of Chicago requested the production of the television

system to Camarena, and colored televisions manufactured in Mexico were
exported to the United States.

10. Contraceptive pill: Luis Ernesto Miramontes made the synthesis of

norethisterone, which is an active compound base of the first synthetic oral
contraceptive.

These are the main inventions and redesigns that were created by totally Mexican
ingenuity

In the United States the process of building scientific and technological capacities
in the post-War period of independence was largely developed in the absence of a
formal and structured scientific and technological policy.

The United States has undoubtedly had many great advances in science and
technology that have made a great step for humanity and have remained for
history, since long ago the American citizens have had great support for science
and technology, Among the greatest discoveries and facts are the following:

The touchscreen phone is a novel multifunctional device, now it allows the sending
of handmade drawings as an attachment in different messages; it also offers the
public many possibilities of games and other entertainment programs.

All these advances in science and technology benefit society as they make
everyday life more comfortable and bearable help people with disabilities to reduce
their daily difficulties and strengthen the world economy.
