Assumptions:
1) Vapor Pressure, density & viscosity for summer and winter case are same as PS1A considering the same crude oil stream is being
received.
2) 10% margin considered on frictional drop on pump discharge side
3) Shut-off head assumed 25% of calculated Rated differential plus maximum suction pressure
4) Pump efficiency is assumed as 30%.
5) Line length and No of fittings (Tee, elbow) are considered as per plot plan and latest P&IDs.
6) NPSHA is calculated at the suction flange of pump. Margin of 0.5 mlc considered over calculated NPSHA.
7) Geodetic Discharge Height is considered 0.00 m as closed drain collection drum-7 is located at grade level.

Notes
1) Quantity of valves, Reducer / Expander, flow element is considered as per latest P&IDs.
2) Pump Suction side fittings are not considered, as this is vertical submersible pump
3) The differential pressure calculated is at outlet flange of pump above grade level. Vendor to consider additional pressure loss due to
vertical head and frictional loss in pump bowl.
4) The closed drain is transferred to closed drain collection drum-7. The destination pressure is 0.3 barg however, minimum destination
pressure is considered as 0.5 barg (with margin).
