Lesson idea implementation:


This will be flipped classroom assignment. In this assignment students will log onto my teacher blog and
find a video along with an accompanied assignment. Students will wacth the video and complete the
assignment at home. They will then bring their assignment and general knowledge to class the next day. They
will partake in a an inquiry based activity to further devlop their understanding of the topic. I believe the in-
class activity will push this lesson to a higher learning level.
The part of the assignment retrieved from the website and completeled at home will not take long for
students to do at home no more than 20 minutes. The lesson will be concluded by collecting student work
from both home and in class. The student will receive feedback on their assignment the following class when I
give theirgraded assignments back to them.

Importance of technology:
Technolgy is crucial to this assignment because students would not have access to the video at home
without it. The website-creation tool is helpful to this project becasaue students will only have to go to one
place to complete their assignments. Using technology for assignments such as these are beneficial because if
a sstuadent had missed class they would still be able to come to school prepared for the next lesson.

Describe your personal learning goal for this activity.


Using teacher blogs as a way to give work and information to students is something I have never tried before.
I hope that this can add efficiency to my future class room. Also I hope this helps student to develop a basic
knowledge prior to class so that I will have a foundation to build upon.
