Peaches and Cream 2017 Terms and Conditions

Open to all photographers throughout the world. Anyone whose 18th birthday is on or
before July 31, 2017 is eligible, with the exception of anyone employed by Millennium
Images. Existing Millennium contributors ARE eligible to enter. However, work that has
been selected for the Millennium website as of May 2, 2017 is not eligible for submission.
Entries will be accepted until midnight on July 31, 2017. Entries will be deemed to have
been received if the correct entry fee is paid by this date. Images and submission forms
must be correctly submitted by midnight on August 3, 2017 in order to qualify. The entry
fee is 20 (incl. any VAT) per submission (series) up until midnight on July 16,
2017. From then on until the closing date (July 31, 2017) the fee for entry will be 30
(incl. any VAT). A submission consists of a series of 3-10 images all of which are part of
one project. Entrants may submit any number of submissions, each to be accompanied by
the correct entry fee. If an entrant wants to submit more than one submission he or she
should contact us after the first submission in order to facilitate any subsequent
submissions. - contact@milim.com. Work shot or completed on any date is eligible for
submission. Montaged images are acceptable for submission. This should be indicated on
the submission form where indicated. The copyright in the images remains the property
of the photographer. Images must be submitted as jpegs which are approximately 8 MB
in size when open. This is equivalent to the longest side of the image being approx. 2000
pixels. Any images not correctly submitted will not be entered into the competition and
the entry fee may be forfeited. The entrant warrants that the work is his or her own and
that it does not infringe any third party rights. Where any image includes one or more
person(s) the photographer will state on the entry form whether a model release is
available.

Photographers must include the Submission Form when submitting images. They may
also submit other supporting documents if they wish, for instance C.V., Artist's Statement
factual text etc.

Milim Gallery may contact any entrant prior to the judging in order to clarify any points
about a submission.

The judges will consider such things as artistic merit, conceptual focus, technical ability,
commitment, originality and presentation when making their decisions. The judges
decision will be final and no discussion or correspondence will be entered into. By
entering a photographer warrants that if chosen he or she will willing to take part in the
exhibition as described in these terms and conditions. The shortlist - those chosen for
exhibition- will be informed by email in August, 2017. The judges' decisions will be
final. Unsuccessful entrants will be informed later in August. The shortlist will be required
to deliver framed or mounted exhibition quality prints to Millennium Images' offices in
London no later than the 29th of September, 2017. The size of prints and style of the
framing / mounting must be discussed with Millennium so as to make an impactful show in
the context of the space and considering the other images being exhibited. If work is being
sent from outside the UK it may be possible for Millennium to arrange framing in London at
the photographers expense.

If the photographer wishes, Millennium can organise the printing of the images at no
charge to the photographer (our sponsors are providing this service,) although framing will
still be at the photographers expense. If Millennium is organising the printing all decisions
as to size, type of paper etc will be taken by Millennium.

Millennium will make small limited edition of prints of an image by each photographer
included in the exhibition. This will be at the cost of Millennium or its sponsors. The
limited edition prints will be on sale at the exhibition and subsequently through Millennium
Images. Any money raised through sales will be split 50/50 between Millennium and the
photographer. The sale price of the limited edition prints will be at the discretion of
Millennium.

Two cash prizes will be awarded at the private view of the exhibition. 1000 will be
awarded as a first prize and 250 will be awarded as a graduate prize. Additional prizes
will also be awarded. The details of these will be posted on the website and through our
social media channels.

The Graduate Prize will be awarded to an entrant who has received or expects to receive a
BA or MA (or equivalent) in photography in 2016 or 2017. Your status as a graduate
should be stated on the submission form where indicated. Graduates are also eligible for
the main prize.

Millennium Images reserves the right to use any of the images submitted to publicize the
competition and future versions of the competition. This includes usage on our websites
and dissemination through such things as social networking media and through printed
media. The photographer agrees, if asked, to participate in related publicity and to the use
of his or her name and submitted photographs. The copyright in the images remains the
property of the photographer. No payment will be due to the photographer for usage
publicising the competition. Every effort will be made to obtain a credit with any
reproduction but Millennium cannot be held responsible if an image is reproduced without
a credit. Submitting photographers agree to supply high resolution jpegs of
images suitable for publication within print media in order to publicise the competition if
required. At the Photofusion exhibition the proceeds of any prints that are sold will be
split 50/50 between Millennium and the photographer. The photographer agrees that the
work may be shown in further venues subsequent to the first exhibition. If sales are made
of the work through the agency of any third party the division of sales will be:
photographer 40%, Millennium 30%, third party 30%. The sale price of the work will be
decided by Millennium after discussion with the photographer. At the end of the
exhibition the photographer must collect his or her work from Millenniums offices in
London or by arrangement the photographer may collect or organize the collection of the
work from Photofusion Gallery. Millennium reserves the right to dispose of any work not
collected by November 30, 2017.

Millennium cannot be held responsible for work not submitted on time because of website
or internet problems, though at Millennium's discretion an extension may be granted if
genuine problems are encountered with the Milim Gallery site. The outright winner and the
winner of the graduate award will be announced at the private view of the show on
Tuesday October 31, 2017. Insurance of all prints remains the sole responsibility of the
submitting photographer. Whilst all care be taken with prints Millennium cannot be held
responsible for loss or damage however caused.

Millennium Images reserves the right to alter any of the details or terms of the competition
without notice. If however Millennium changes the fundamentals of the competition or
decides to cancel the competition it will refund in full any entry fees on request from the
entrant. Any reference to Millennium or Millennium Images in these terms and conditions
shall, where the context admits, be deemed to also be a reference to Milim Gallery, the
print sales division of Millennium and Crane Kalman Brighton, and vice versa. Please
