A Documentation:

A detailed repair procedure including inspection, excavation, welding,

A1 testing and applicable welding documents shall be submitted for Aramco

B Repairs:

Welds may be repaired twice at any defect location. Whenever the


second repair is not acceptable, SA Inspection has sole authority to SAES-W-010,

permit additional repair attempts, or require that the entire weld be cut Para. 16.1

The limitation on the number of repairs does not include adjacent

limited by structural strength or other considerations.
Repair of cracks that are fabrication related shall require the approval of SAES-W-010,

Cracks that are related to the base metal or welding consumable shall be SAES-W-010,

In-process repairs (i.e., repairs performed prior to joint completion using
